Southeast Bank holds `Business Policy and Planning Confce’

The "Business Policy and Planning Conference- 2014" of Southeast Bank Limited was held Tuesday at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, Dhaka. Chairman of the bank Alamgir Kabir, FCA was present as chief guest in the conference. Managing Director Shahid Hossain presided over the conference.
While inaugurating the conference as chief guest, the chairman of the bank evaluated the performances and present position of the bank and highlighted the strategic direction for the year 2014.
He then encouraged all employees to take all out efforts for achieving business Challenge in the year 2014 and implement the time befitting business strategy to go ahead. He emphasized on sales, marketing and promotion of banking products and instructed to reduce the cost of fund to generate more profit.
He also advised the employees to assess credit proposals more meticulously and ensure strict monitoring on the credit customers.
He urged upon the bank employees to maintain the pace of progress in banking business by complying with necessary regulatory requirements, so that the shareholders, regulators, and customers become satisfied with our services and performance.
In his inaugural speech, Managing Director Shahid Hossain emphasized the need of honesty, dedication and courage of the employees to accomplish their respective duties.
He advised senior executives of the Bank, especially, the Head of Branches and Divisional Heads for achieving the business targets of the year 2014.
He stressed upon to lower the cost of deposit, maintaining good quality of banking assets, close monitoring of different loan accounts and delivery of high quality customer services.
In the conference, last one year's business performance was reviewed and business target of the Bank for the year 2014 was determined and different winning strategies for business success were devised.
Mohammed Gofran, Additional Managing Director made welcome address at the beginning of inaugural session and Muhammad Shahjahan, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary gave Vote of thanks while concluding the inaugural session.
